Moishes Honours Local Restaurateurs, chefs, and more

We recently hosted a lunch to thank the talented Montreal chefs who inspire us, and who agreed to have their portraits taken for our walls by our friend, photographer Stéphane Cocke. Guests at our restaurant have seen his portraits of Juni-san from Restaurant Juni, Costas Spiliadis from Milos, Dave MacMillan and Fred Morin from Joe Beef, Emma Cardarelli from Ryan Gray, Antonio Park from Park, and Michele Forgione and Stefano Faita from Impasto. We were thrilled to welcome them, as well as many of the guests from our Grilled podcast. These include Bertrand Cesvet of Sid Lee, Eric Alper of Frank and Oak, Andy Nulman of Play the Future, Joe Mercuri of Mercuri, wine expert Nick Hamilton, Gazette Food Writer Lesley Chesterman, radio host Aaron Rand, McGill Associate Professor Karl Moore, New York chef Missy Robbins, Order of Canada recipient Normand Laprise, Nick Morena from Saint-Viateur Bagel, Larry and Hymie Skolnick from Beauty’s, Alexandre Brosseau from Flyjin and Sousbois, Arjun Basu of Spafax, and Anthony Rose of Rose and Sons.

The restaurant industry is unique. It’s a real community, where we like to share information and stories. We think that sets a great example for Canada and for other businesses. Our customers demand and deserve the best, and by standing together as a community, we can deliver on that promise.
